Space-MAP™ is powered by accurate data gathered by advanced ground-based and space-based cameras. Processing the raw images on the edge utilizing onboard PFGAs is vital to extract useful information, reduce operational costs and augment efficiency.
Digantara is seeking an Senior FPGA Engineer to develop RTL-level firmware for implementing algorithms written in high-level languages for deployment in embedded systems. You will use your knowledge and experience in programming FPGA to develop cutting-edge firmware for tracking space objects from both space and the ground.

Responsibilities
- Develop RTL level codes using VHDL/Verilog for pre-existing high-level image processing algorithms.
- Collaboration with image processing team to implement high-level algorithms in FPGA.
- Synthesize and compile the HDL codes.
- Debugging and logic verification at the RTL level.
- Efficiently use and create IP (Intellectual Property) blocks to customize firmware development.
- Optimize codes and timing synchronization for embedded hardware requirements.
- Define and conduct testing and troubleshooting of codes using digital hardware kits.
- Ensure hardware compatibility, efficiency, and reliability of the firmware.
- Document the design and development iterations of firmware following standard industry practices.
- Get engaged in the recruiting and training of new engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in firmware development for advanced image processing algorithms.
- Proficiency in embedded VHDL/Verilog and C/C++.
Preferred Qualities
- Understanding of digital electronics and RTL codes.
- Strong debugging skills.
- Hands-on experience in testing with FPGA boards such as Xilinx.
- Good knowledge in understanding image processing algorithms.
