We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Proposal Writer with a focus on the Government sector to join our team at Digantara. You will bring expertise in crafting compelling proposals and content tailored for the unique demands of Government/Defence agencies.

Ideal Candidate
We are searching for a skilled technical proposal writer with expertise developing several detailed proposals for government procurements/projects. They should also have a solid understanding of the aspects that are common and required for every hardware/software project of the government.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough analyses of Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposals (RFP), and Requests for Quotes (RFQ) to accurately understand and address the specific requirements, ensuring the development of effective and tailored responses for Government and Defence grant applications, contracts, and awards.
Researching and analysing information to support proposal development, managing the proposal process from start to finish, including drafting, editing, proofreading and submitting proposals.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure proposal content meets requirements, aligns with company goals and are well-written, concise, and persuasive.
Performing independent research to gain a deep understanding of the Defense-focused Space Domain Awareness (SDA) sector, while continuously staying abreast of the latest developments and trends within the industry.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Engineering.
Proven track record in writing technical proposals for government and defence contracts in the technology sector.
Familiarity with the specific requirements and formats of the Requests for Information (RfI), Requests for Proposals (RfP), and Requests for Quotes (RfQ).
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and communicate in a way that is engaging and easily understandable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding written communication skills in English, demonstrating a high level of fluency, and impeccable grammar.
Strong organisational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualities:
Prior experience in Government Consultancy preferred.
Knowledge of the defence and space ecosystem in India.
Awareness of regulatory guidelines in government and defence contracting.
Experience with international proposals (US, UK & Europe).
